Happy Birthday Imel!

Today is Imel’s birthday. So finally the old gang – I call it THE X TEAM Smile because most of us are X employees of one particular foreign bank – finally got together again.
Most of us made it to the restaurant.

Adi, Imel’s husband – the local bank senior executive, the one that everyone goes to for advises.

Denny – the bank manager, who’s been in 3 different foreign banks in the last 10 years.

Leka & Riana – 2 out of 4 who are still with the foreign bank. Both are super female executives – well done ladies.

Don – who just left the foreign bank 3 months ago, came in later after everyone finished their meal.

Liza – madame flashy couldn’t show. Ke mana aja Liz, kangen nih…

Riklin was notified at the last minute – seperti biasa, sorry ya Rik makanya selametin si Imel biar diundang lebih cepat dong Tongue out heuheuheu

Irwan was Missing In Action…

Don & I met this group a little over 8 years ago, when we started our career at the bank. So practically we grew up together. Don & I were the youngest and the first to get married. We were also the first to have children, the first to enjoy life in suburbia and the first to buy a regular family MPV.

As Liza would tease us, “You guys are so middle class” hahahahahah… Then slowly but sure the others follow through. Who is middle class now? Smile

I watched our group and realize there is a pattern to it.
People started spending so much money during their first years of their career.
Then started a family and just realized that they needed the big kick to their investment.
As our family grew, our needs and wants grew even more. A quantum leap in investment is required. I noticed that as a group, our spending pattern changed dramatically in the last 3 years. We actually evolved…

I miss our fancy dinners & group coffee time. So promise me, we’ll have the annual Christmas Dinner, alright guys?

I love Adi’s comment to Denny today.
“If you love it, but you’re afraid of doing it… you really gotta do it man…”

Denny was in all smile face when I rushed out to my next appointment.
He texted us later that night, thanking the bunch for our unconditional support.

Cheers mate Smile we love you too…
